Asus, just like the rest of the electronic manufacturers wants a piece of the pie. The time has come and Asus has finally made it official and just announced about their latest creation, The DR-900 e-reader.

The product was unveiled at the CeBIT 2010 event in Hanover, Germany. The DR-900 has a 9 inch display with 1024×768 resolution. The DR-900 has Wi Fi connectivity and 4GB internal memory.

Asus DR-900 supports MP3, ePUB, PDF, HTML, JPEG, GIF, PNG and TXT formats.

The battery life on the DR-900 is very much attractive and makes this gadget a great one if you are in the market to buy an eReader. You will get 2 weeks of battery life without the WiFi and 4 days with WiFi.

Asus has not released pricing data nor a release date about the DR-900. We will keep you updated as we get more information about the Asus DR-900 eReader.
